Seraphim Falls with Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson. Yes, two brilliant Irish actors are playing Americans. Seriously, I am more than happy with the cast!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Made in 2006. Western. Smart, interesting and well, really good.<\/p>\n

1868. Carver (Liam Neeson<\/a>) has 4 men with him to accompany him on his hunt for Gideon (Pierce Brosnan<\/a>). We don\u2019t really know why. We don\u2019t know who the good guy is, or if even there is one. It is Gideon against 5 men and the wild nature.<\/p>\n

But as the movie progresses, we realize Gideon is quick, smart and very strong. It is as dangerous for the men after him as it is for Gideon. I could impress you with a couple of examples, but hey- I don’t want to give even the tiniest of spoilers;)<\/p>\n

The movie has great unexpected moments, lovely subtle acting (both Liam and Pierce are perfect), and a solid plot. I am not normally a western fan, but I never overlook a good one.<\/p>\n

Plus, the leading of Carver\u2019s men is played by Michael Wincott<\/a>. And he just makes a fine baddie.<\/p>\n

You didn\u2019t recognize him with the short hair? Oh well. Imagine shoulder-length and think The Crow<\/a>. He is also in Robin Hood: The Prince of Thieves opposite Ralph Fiennes<\/a> and in Strange Days, making his life hell.<\/p>\n

Reasons to see it?<\/strong><\/p>\n
