Hi everyone..
I don’t know who wrote this amazing article about me. I just want to say thank you:)))))
Pinarcim
I`m soooo looking forward to your book signing :)))) I will be there i promise:)))) I saw the other article you wrote…
just two suggestions,
1 – don`t even try to sign every book differently. I’ve tried. result = people are getting pissed off because the other one is always better.. (komsunun tavugu hikayesi)
2 – Don’t ask people if and what part they liked the most about your book.. Next time you write, you`ll be after pleasing people))))
Well these are my humble opinions. At the end of the day, what do I know!
Thanks so much for commenting. It means a lot:)
1) Well…I never thought about it that way. I guess right. I mean you are the bestselling author:) But the thing is, I am still a long way from where you are. It is so much fun to imagine a crowd waiting for you and what you will write for every one of them. But I guess I can discriminate positively. Like it is OK to write something about rocknroll if the person is wearing a rock band’s t-shirt or to mention Clark Gable for my grandmother’s generation? Just a thought;)
2) It is curiousity. Don’t worry I wouldn’t turn into a minor market research:) But it is a habit I have. I come from writing fiction and I just love asking who liked what best and why. In high school, I was writing a tv-series in screenplay format. The story featured a lot of different characters. One reader (friend) liked one character while the other hated him/her. But they even loved to hate that one because they had fun. In the end, I ended up pleasing everyone I wanted to please. But had they said they didn’t like any of it, I wouldn’t have gotten rid of that story. I am a writer, my story is my baby. And I wrote it to please me and then to please others:)
Again, thanks so much.
I love your energy:))) you really are wonderful:))
How about this,
I`ll send you another signed book with this `I love your energy, you really are wonderful`
i mean it:))
thank you so much..
Ha ha…
Thank you. But I got my personalized book signing in the form of a lovely blog comment;)
I am looking forward to your future work.
