Mel Gibson
Mel Gibson as Martin Riggs in Lethal Weapon. In this scene, he is persuading a suicidal man not to jump. How? By handcuffing him and jumping together. Oh, don't worry. The soft landing was granted. But still...Mel is made for these wacky roles.
Yes, he is one of my favorite actors. He is talented, hard-working and very smart. He is also hyper–active and manic depressive; stuff I can relate to more than I’d like. He has also made some of my all time favorite films. But:
- Why on earth would anyone have 8 children, and 7 from the same woman? Poor Robyn (his ex) must have spent like more than 5 years of herself pregnant. I realize some people love big families and can respect that but I still find it very weird.
- Building a church in your own land? I realize he has shitloads of money but I can think of using it in a million ways that will help people in need. If you are that religious and that rich, surely there are millions ways of putting the money into good use. Church-building for self, not so much!
- If someone is sooo religious that takes him to bigotry (the whole drunken anti-Jewish remarks), you’d think he would use less alcohol. And then there is the naked scenes and sex scenes issue…Well, you see my point? Shouldn’t he be more concerned with those? Each to his own…but…less alcohol and more PG-13 movies should work more in his favor than what religion he loves the most. In my opinion anyway.
- Mel Gibson is anti-gay? No, he is not. One of his best friends is Jodie Foster and she is gay. Wait! He is OK with lesbians but not gay guys? That’s not bigotry. That’s being male. Men and their lesbian fantasies…
Overall? He is human. Sometimes he just shows his weaknesses a little too publicly but then again, with 8 kids and 830 million dollars and an alcohol problem, I think he is not doing that bad.

Jude Law
The Beautiful Mr. Law
Jude is a terrific actor. No one can dismiss him as just a pretty face. He has played in The Talented Mr. Ripley, Cold Mountain, Enemy at the Gates, Road to Perdition…Talent, diversity and a pretty face equals good news in Hollywood but….it really doesn’t prevent the actor from doing terrible and beyond stupid stuff:
- What kind of idiot gets engaged to the beautiful and lovely Sienna Miller and then cheats on her with his children’s fat, ugly nanny???? Now, I don’t like cheaters but when men cheat on their partners with prettier and fitter women, I can get the logic at least. I don’t approve it and they deserve serious ass-kicking but I get it. But cheating on a beautiful woman with an ugly woman who is just after publicity? Seriously, Jude- this is enough to score you a plain 8!
Just reminding you what Sienna Miller looks like. In case you forgot. 
- Oh, and did you know the incident where he threw oranges to his fans? Oh, yes. If he is that worried about his privacy, he should not get on the front page of tabloids- with events like such as cheating on Siena. Jude, seriously! Get a grip man. Or is your level of sanity directly proportional to the ceasing of your hairline?

What? I wanted to prove my point about Jude Law's hairline. If he can cheat on Siena, I can hit below too 
Tom Cruise
Tom Cruise is acting...well pretty much like himself.
If I made a list of my top 100 films ever, a bunch of Tom’s movies that would make it there. So I can’t give up on him as an actor. You remember his movies? The M:I series, Born on the 4th of July, Jerry Maguire, Vannila Sky, The Last Samurai, Risky Business, Top Gun….
But it really annoys me when actors try to impose their political/religious views. If you want to become a spokesperson for something, make sure it is for a charity or some other noble cause.
- Don’t publicly disapprove people of taking anti-depressants in the name of scientology. Remember the Brooke Shields incident? Depression is a serious illness. Who made Tom a psychiatrist?
- Getting divorced from Nicole Kidman? Really?
- Jumping on the sofas on Oprah about Katie Holmes?
- Basically anything about Holmes?

Hugh Grant. Cute. Stupid but cute.
Now, he is not an actor I can’t give up on, but he has appeared in some of my fav. movies: Love Actually, Bridget Jones and 9 months. He may not be versatile but he is damned entertaining.
Why a nut job?

I hate cheaters and I don’t really approve hookers. Hugh Grant could get anyone but he slep with a prostitute? While he was with Hurley?

Ralph Fiennes
Ralph Fiennes in The English Patient
He is a little bit of…crazy. I think all good actors need a bit of that I guess and Ralph is totally in a league of his own at his craft. He is also shy- I’ m quoting from him and I’ve seen him on interviews. He really is shy. So the two times he was paparazzi material came as a surprise.
- You remember who he had left his wife for? The woman playing his mother on a stage production of Hamlet. And yes she was older. And no, she wasn’t attractive.
- He is too shy to talk in public but not shy enough to have sex with a flight attendant in the plane bathroom?

AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST:
Christian Bale
Christian Bale. Don't be fooled by the sweet exterior.
Gerard Butler’s answer to his favorite actor is Bale. Now, can’t blame him. Bale is good. He can pull off any role. His mad side? He is totally unable to get over himself. He has an ego bigger than his size and bigger than his acting skills.
- Have you seen the SNL episode with Bradley Cooper? One skit was totally about Bale and his anger fit he had on the set. They made fun of him and he really deserved it. Wanna hear how he loses it? Get on youtube and type Christian Bale. You’ll know what I am talking about.
-When Heath died, reporters couldn’t resist talking/asking about him. Who could blame them? Heath died at such a young age, so tragically and unexpectedly. He was a terrific actor and frankly his performance kicked ass in Batman. He made The Dark Knight. So Michael Caine didn’t get into fits when people wanted to talk about Heath. Neither did Gary Oldman, nor Morgan Freeman. Of course Bale is much better than them, right? Of course he was sooooooo right about giving the reporters a piece of his mind about how Batman wasn’t just about Ledger. Yes, Bale, dear- we saw the movie. You are in it. Except, your part could have been done by anyone and we would be talking about you too if you died after a memorable performance. Duh!!!
Well.: 8/10 for nuttiness, 100/10 for ego and some bad anger management issues.
Sure, I will keep watching his movies. I’ll just stay away from him when he is not acting.
Christian, baby- calm down. We know you are a terrific actor. Oh wait, maybe losing and gaining so much weight/muscle in between roles damaged your nerves?

The link to that Matthew post of his next 10 movies was hilarious. I learned a few facts reading this post like Grant cheating with a hooker and Law cheating with a ugly nanny(for god’s sake what’s wrong with this people).
Tom Cruise is not a nut job imo. He’s got a point and getting a divorce from Kidman doesn’t mean anything at all. Kidman is gorgeous and a talented actress and I love her but I still like to believe she is what she is because of Cruise. That being said I heard of the Brooke Shields incident but know nothing about except the fact that he apologized.
I like the second fact about Ralph(it’s dope) but the other one makes him a 500% nut job.
And last but not least(you might get bored but I have to say what I have to say):
I agree with you that he is a total psycho, he shouted at someone even on the set of Terminator Salvation. That being the fact, he is right that Batman isn’t just about Joker(yes that is the 2nd great performance of the decade and i agree but….). Everyone is allowed to have an opinion and I respect yours that he was not a good Bruce Wayne but when you strongly say that ‘that part could have been done by anyone’, that’s where I disagree. The few of the biggest movie blogs over the internet: The Movie Blog, Screen Rant and a couple more claims that his Bruce version is one of the best performance in any movies of Superhero genre and I agree.
Aside from the fact, he is one of the most diversed actor ever. Heath Ledger is great and R.I.P but I will say that he was hit and miss. Don’t believe me? Casanova, The Order, (The Brother’s Grimm is also not such a good movie imo) etc were not good films. But C.Bale? He did great in a row in movies like American Psycho, 3:10 to Yuma, Shaft, The Prestige, Rescue Dawn, The Machinist, Reign of Fire and not to mention the batman movies that both got more than 8 over at imdb and RT. I mean all the movies I mentioned above got more than 7, seriously.
So, my point is Heath Ledger was a good guy and a good actor but Bale is a nut job and a better actor. Ledger was dope as joker but you dont know if it would have been better or not with Johnny Depp. I just wrote this bigass review just because you said: “your part could have been done by anyone”.

Now, I wish I had the Tom tapes. If you had seen the whole pic, you probably would have agreed. But still, we can always disagree. I just don’t like any over-religous attitude, when people judge others. So, yeah he apologized but trust me, there was a good reason for it.
As for Bale, I think he is great but I stand by my point that The Dark Knight is overrated. Yes, it is good but number 9 in 250 on imdb??? That’s too much. And I have seen Bale in a lot of films, and Batman isn’t his most demanding role. And while Heath didn’t do masterpieces, he was great in everything.He lives his roles. Just watch him in Monster’s Ball But I value entertainment above else. So you can understand why I like Heath more. And I like Casanova a lot…Maybe it is because I am a girl : D

Btw, did you see 3:10 to Yuma? It stars Christian Bale,Russell Crowe and Ben Foster, it is a really enertaining,action-packed western masterpiece.
I really want to see 3.10 to Yuma and will see it. ; )

OK, Christian has some anger management problems, or want a little bit attention and exaggrates, but who doesn’t? He is on the business since he was 10, his first big project was with Stephen Spielberg, Tears of the sun, and his performance was one of the best i’ve ever seen as a child actor..what i’m trying to say is, he is in this business for so long and you never heard that he has sex on the plane with stewardess or cheated on his wife or had a child from a one night stand…he lives a decent life, works hard…everybody has problems sometimes so

- Jude is an idiot. His braincells are getting too much sun or something. He should get a natural hair implant and get off his high horse. Siena isn’t that bad as an actress, I think anyway.
- Don’t be so harsh on Mel. I know you don’t like him that much, but still he has great movies you still haven’t seen. The Man without a Face, Gallipoli and so forth. Plus, his movie Edge of Darkness is coming and I can’t wait. He is also a marvelous producer. His company produced Butterfly on Wheel (which is one of my fav. Gerard Butler/Pierce Brosnan films) and Paparazzi, which is a solid thriller and a great satire.The guy’s mind is in overdrive and I guess we can both understand that. He is nuts, but he is one of the reasons I want to be a filmmaker. So I forgave him.
- Christian Bale is marvelous but I hate actors with ego problems. I don’t see Daniel Day-Lewis bashing out on every one. Do you? You might have issues but if you are that pissed, go see a therapist. Do not treat your co-workers like they are sandbags. And they all have problems. Alcoholism killed Swayze, drugs killed River Phoenix, mixed medication took away Heath. So they are all problematic. Doesn’t mean he has to be an asshole. You know I hate assholes. ; )
- Yeah, yeah. Ralph is forgiven. Wouldn’t call him a god but he is pretty high up.
Confusions: I thought Zoey was Pinar and now there is another Pinar?

About Jude, Hugh and Ralph… well, if they like the ugly ones, we, women, should be over the moon about that. It means, that not only the pretty ones have a chance of happiness. By the way, cheating is not a serious crime to condemn. The media should mind their own business and keep their noses out of celebrities private lives.
Christian Bale has a high opinion about himself. And I, personally, despise this side of his personality.

We don’t know for sure who are the ones cheating and could be a lot more than we think! You’d have to kick the ass of 9 out 10 men, all around the world… The ones who don’t cheat would love to do so, if they had the chance. So, in the end, I don’t think it makes much difference. True love is very rare. The soul mate is hard to find…
@ Patricia: I know. Unfortunately, I am very aware of that fact. But then again, these men are not cheating alone. They need women to do that and a very good portion of them probably knows the guys are in relationships. So, men are not solely to blame. However, I’d gladly kick those 9 asses, Patricia. I am sorry, but I can’t help that I am a romantic at heart. What I want men to understand is that, we can cheat too. They should be horrified at the thought because sex is very easy to get for the average girl. If we are not cheating, it is out of respect- not because we can’t get others to sleep with us. And if there is no respect, there shouldn’t be a relationship. Fingers crossed, I will find a guy who won’t cheat on me. Because if he does, God help him ; )
