It’s Vegas, baby!
Let’s be honest. Vegas is alluring. I’ve always wanted to go there and maybe I’ll one day. But I feel like I already did somehow, thanks to the ever-popular TV shows and movies. Ever seen Josh Duhamel running the luxury casino in Las Vegas? Even Jon Bon Jovi appreared on the show. Remember the Friends episode where the gang thinks Joey is working on a huge movie but he actually is working at a casino? This gives Monica and Chandler to roll the dice a couple of times while Phoebe tries the slots.
What about the movie What happens in Vegas with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher? They thought it would be a riot and they end up being right. They end up getting married, drunk. The next day, they need to get rid of each other. But how can they share the millions earned by her coin and his playing?
If you are interested in Vegas, you should definitely check out Kevin Spacey’s 21. It is smart, stylish and very fun. And obviously there’s the tradition of bachelor parties depicted hilariously in The Hangover. Hell, Brad Pitt, Andy Garcia and George Clooney teamed up three times for the Ocean’s series.
Movie-makers love Vegas, both as setting and an essential part of the plot. And who can blame them? A lot of story ideas come from casinos and gambling and playing cards. Essentially, there is most often tricks and some robbery attempts are involved.
But what if someone just loves to play cards and doesn’t have the time or the money to fly to Las Vegas? That’s when online casinos like Red Casino come in handy. Just like a lot of things today, playing games can be done through the internet. Slots, table games, card games…you name it. No, I never tried. I am a gal who learned poker from Mel Gibson’s Maverick ( that one is set in Wild West, but hey, poker is poker). I love playing cards with my friends with no money involved. But for those who enjoy risks and are attracted to the concept of luck, this seems like the next good thing. However, if you want the hotels and the lights and the whole package, book your ticket. Or wait for the next movie.
